Paul had a dilemma…
but not exactly of the same variety that people commonly face today. Paul wanted to die. He yearned for heaven. And yet he saw the value of living, in order that he might be used to bring the gospel to God’s people and to further the cause of the kingdom of heaven.
He chose ultimately to serve God as long as he could, with all his might, all the while gazing longingly toward his heavenly home.
