"These words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children..." (Deuteronomy 6:6-7).
Raising children is like raising a cathedral -- it is a multi-generational goal, and while you are laying each stone it can be hard to envision the magnificent finished product. Godly parenting requires diligence, over the long haul.
On the other hand, parents have a fleeting, ever-narrowing door of opportunity to influence the hearts and habits of their children. They can’t afford to forget about it, or get distracted from it, or put it off until it is more convenient.
Join us as we consider the urgent, diligent work of raising children to know God through his Word.

You will never see your sin -- or your God -- the same again.
1 Corinthians 10:13 says, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

"It is a good thing that the heart be established with grace" -Hebrews 13:9
Since our needs are daily needs, we are to be praying and looking to the Lord on a daily basis. In fact, Christian living is not just an experience at church on Sunday but a daily walk with the Lord. In describing a godly man the psalmist writes that “his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night” (1:2).
It is so easy to let the many distractions of life pull us away from being in the Word every day.
Our prayer is that as you read these devotions you will be strengthened in your daily walk with the Lord and grow in your love for Jesus Christ.

"For he that will love life, and see good days... let him seek peace" (1 Peter 3:10-11).
We live in a world full of conflict.
But God loves peace.
So you ought to love it too.
Someone has said, "Peace with God, peace within ourselves, and peace with others comes in the same package.” Peace with God is the greatest of blessings and as that peace is enjoyed we are to be pursuing peace with others.
Join Lasserre Bradley, Jr. as we pursue the life-loving, beneficial, blessed influence of the peacemaker in this four-part series.

“What is the Christian gospel?”
If you were to respond that question, how would you answer? As you may know, the word "gospel" simply means "good news"; but what is the good news that Christians believe and that we want to share with everyone else?
Sometimes others, and even Christians ourselves, get confused about this vital question and mistake the Christian gospel for moral teaching ("don’t lie or steal"), or charitable works ("do unto others as you would have them do unto you"). While these are certainly teachings that are consistent with, and complementary to, the gospel – this is not the Christian gospel itself.
Join Justin Huffman as we unpack 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 in order to answer the core question of Christianity, and its implications for all.

"Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another" (Romans 14:19).
True, lasting, Christ-centered and Christ-exalting peace does not happen naturally. That is why the New Testament is constantly exhorting us to make peace and commending those who supernaturally develop the habit of being "peacemakers."
In this message recently shared on our daily broadcast, Justin Huffman examines five things which the Bible says will inevitably make for peace within the body of Christ:
