Colossians 1:28-29
In writing to the church at Colosse, Paul encourages them in their faith in Christ and their love for the saints. Paul's ministry centers around Christ and Him crucified; he does not preach a gospel of social justice or political reform. Paul reminds the church of their mission to warn every man of the coming judgment, to avoid doctrinal error, and to caution those who are walking disorderly. Paul desired that everyone who claimed Christ should abound in His service.
